My poor old camera was becoming quite painful to use. Batteries were dying, shutter started making funny sounds and long exposures appeared to contain more noise than before. So Photography hit the back burner for a while and I sat and twiddled my thumbs thinking of what to do next. Finally I’ve gotten around to replacing my worn out Canon 400D with a newer body, no, not a 5D nor a 7D but a newer entry level 600D. Older models have certainly come down in price.
One of the last photos taken with my 400D. Well, maybe come Storm Season I’ll take it out to double my luck…… Now it’s a case of re-learning the layout of the menu and buttons and see if I can find if they totally did away with Flash Exposure Compensation.
Hopefully this new body will inspire me to get out and use the camera again – it’s been a few months since I last fired off the shutter.
Time to Start Again
